Here at DudStocks.com we try to bring you some of the very best of the very worst stock market performers. We try to bring to your attention to stocks that you won't normally hear about on any financial news sites or read in any news articles. After all it's not fun loosing money or hearing about people that are but almost everyone who has ever dabbled in the markets has lost some a time or two. Anyone who has traded for any amount of time has gotten stuck with a real dud a time or two. In this site we'll show you some charts of stocks that are just plain old duds. Stocks that have gone nowhere and most likely never will. Stocks that don't trade and haven't traded for days or even weeks. Stocks with huge spreads. You know those 10 cent bid and 1 dollar ask kind. Down right money losers. Classic pump and dumps. The buy and hold kind because no one else wants to own it so you are stuck with it. Those are the real dud stocks.

Here is a dud if we ever saw one. A real estate stock that was issued in the middle of a housing crisis. Wonder where it will go from here?
Last Weeks Duds
Here is another medical stock. It seems every medical stock we come across is SICK is
when it come trading. This stocks hasn't gone over 3 cents in the entire year and only
traded for a few days at best.
Lorus Therapeutics TSX: LOR
We had to go back in time on this one. This is one of those not so good buy and holds from the tech era. In the last 5 years this stock has been a real dud. We think Canada saving bonds are a better bet.
Cicada Ventures TSXV: CID
Now here is a small, at least we think it is a small stock that is a real dud. Notice the 52 week trading range. 0.05 cent to 2.5 cents. Easy double here boys. Not much information either other than a bit found on Yahoo news which states: The company is in the development stage. The Company is in the process of exploring and evaluating its mineral property and has not yet determined whether this property contains ore reserves that are economically recoverable.
We are trying to determine whether the stock is recoverable. Never mind the ore.
VentriPoint TSXV: VPT
Here is a medical manufacturer stock. The company is Veripoint. According to their website they creates diagnostic tools to monitor patients with heart disease. Great stock to hold if you have a weak heart though. Going by the the trading of this stock they don't want any shareholders getting overly excited. Bid .035 cents, ask is .08 cents and last trade was October 8.
Target Capital Inc. TSXV: TCI
This is NOT a day trade stock at all. Last trade was in May. If you like spreads this one's got it. $1.00 bid - $2.00 ask. Not much info on the company other than what I gather from google finance which says the following. The Company has investments in trailer fee rights, notes receivable, stocks of listed public companies, stocks of a reporting issuer, and stocks of a real estate company. All I can think of is the poor soul who paid the $1.94 back in May and now wants out.

Detector Exploration Ltd. TSXV: DEX
Here is small oil and gas explorer that seems to have really gone down hill. Trading volume is nil and the stocks price has really gone nowhere. Even if you were a bottom fisher you still lost on this play. The company has no website that we could find. As of Friday the stock remained unchanged at 4 cents bid, 9.5 cents ask and no takers.
Promotional Products International. TSXV: PP.H
Now here is a dandy looking chart if we ever saw one. Here is a 1/2 cent buy and hold. Really!! The name of this company is Promotional Products International. We don't know what they promote but we can tell you that the stock is not one of them. The stock is still active ...... well sort of. There is a bid but no ask?? Some news on Stockwatch states that they wish to do a 1-10 rollback and a name change.
CanaDream Corporation. TSXV: CDN
CanaDream is in the vacation business. They are the ones who rent mini motor homes and travel type trailers and campers for all those who come to Canada on a holiday. Looks like the stock in also on holidays by looking at the active trading. On Fridays close the stock was sitting at .30 bid, .49 ask, last at .55 and surprise, surprise, no trades.
Sun Cal Energy OTCBB: SCEYE
Here is a small gas stock that was sent to us from one of our readers. The stock has moved little from being 2 cents in the last 10 months. We don't know how many shares are outstanding. Lots of readers on the Yahoo BB are sure upset with it's performance.
Novra Technologies Inc. TSXV: NVI
Now here is a heavy trader if I ever saw one. Notice in April there was 100,000 shares traded in one day. You would want to make sure you had level 2 for this. Their website says they specialize in the transmission and reception of Internet protocol (IP) data over digital video broadcast (DVB) channels using terrestrial, cable and satellite communication links. Sounds high tech but doesn't look like too many are buying.
Gamecorp. OTCBB: GAIMF
Here is a stock of a company who is involved in the gaming industry. The stock price has been stuck at 5 cents since Christmas. If you look really close you MIGHT notice some trading volume.
Now while there is probably nothing wrong with the company itself, it would just be extremely frustrating holding onto this sort of stock. We would find holding a Canada Saving Bond more exciting.
